Starfallen, Dredge, and Beyond!

Good afternoon!

Nice to meet all of you! I have found out how to make a blog to talk about everything that I am and to show that, yes, I am a human! Well, I believe so anyways. I am Joshua J Cyckevic, an artist and creator of the Starfallen universe. This whole entire thing started over ten years ago when I created a strange scenario in my head of an alien blowing up a planet and Gillean, a “Space Giraffe”, going on a mission to avenge his family. Now, this is not at all what this concept became. As I learned how to use a DAW and to record music the story changed monumentally. Not some cheesy 80’s sci-click now, but an almost Bloodborne-like story of cults, aliens, and death. I would like to invite all of you to check out my first ever album “Starfallen” which is the first three acts of the universe, from Oblation and the destruction of a world to Tabernaculum II, the ultimate cult reveal and military destruction.

My plan is to update this blog with the full story of Starfallen, but that is not the end of the story at all. Dredge, which is on the main page of this site as a rough draft is fully able to be listened to on Soundcloud. The first single, Dredge, will also be on Spotify on 7/31. My cadence for this sequel/sidequel is to release Research Wing Theta a month after Dredge, and then the whole completed and final draft album in early October.

Even beyond Dredge though, I have two more acts and a fundamental shift in the naming and style. I have the full story planned out, but I need to finish and release Dredge before I think about any of that!
